Kiz the new year hello! Join Kizomba RDU for Kizomba on Wednesday nights. Come learn the hottest dance taking over dancefloors around the world. Kizomba is a partner dance from Angola (Africa). With focus on the connection between you and the music, this dance is sure to leave you hypnotized by the smooth afro and carribean sounds. No partner necessary. All levels welcome.

We will split class into Level 1 and Level 2/3 students while teaching simultaneously and allowing everyone to practice together in the last 30 minutes of each class.

Level 1: For Beginners and those who have had 0 - 9 months of Kizomba classes. This progressive 6 week course will introduce basic concepts for dancing Kizomba - focusing on connection with your partner, musicality and foundational steps for dancing Kizomba socially.

Level 2/3:  For those who have had 9+ months of Kizomba classes. This series will build upon your Kizomba foundations and teaches more complex movements that will deepen your understanding of the dance and music. We will focus on Saida variations, leg pushes or lifts and musicality for dancing Kizomba and Semba socially.

Cost: $100 (6 Weeks) | $20 Drop-in each class | 1 punch on Class card

Dates: Wednesdays in Jan 24, 31, Feb 7, 14, 21, 28

Time: 8:15pm - 10:15PM | class will consit of 90 min intensive instruction + 30 minute practice.
