NC Museum of Art has many activities for families. The Museum Park has been transformed over the 30 years since the Museum opened on Blue Ridge Road, growing from the original 50-acre site in 1983 to the current 164-acre campus of trails amid outdoor sculpture. The Park provides a unique opportunity for experiencing art and active living.

For more information: https://ncartmuseum.org/ --------------------------------------------- Kizomba Na Park is an ode to the world-renowned "Kizomba Na Rua" in Luanda, Angola - the birthplace of Kizomba and Semba. In Angola, music and dance play a central role in cultural life. Prior to the pandemic, people gathered in the Marginal (ocean-front promenade) to “Kizomba na Rua” (dancing kizomba on the street) every Sunday evening . The best dancers from Luanda, including many teachers and kizomba champions usually showed up. Everyone is very friendly and all newcomers are quickly invited to dance. This event is free: the organizers just bring their laptop and a speaker and play amazing music. We're hoping to bring a little bit of this experience to the Triangle area!
