⚠️COVID-19/Coronavirus Update - May 6, 2020⚠️
Kizomba RDU Dance Company has been keeping close watch on the updates from public health authorities. On April 23, Governor Roy Cooper announced a 3-Phrase Reopening Plan for the State of North Carolina, with Phase One moving into effect on Friday, May 8th expiring on May 22 - with possibility of extension.
Although Phase One allows for more business and commercial activities to resume, the stay-at-home order remains in place with modification and limits gatherings to 10 people or less. Phase One also requires social distancing to be practiced. As such, Kizomba RDU will remain temporarily closed until we move into Phase Two. Exact dates to be confirmed as we continue to monitor the progress as details continue to unfold. If you are interested in continuing your Kizomba/ Semba training, Kimberly Nicole and Horacio Joao are available for private lessons via virtual video conferencing and video submission feedback. No partner necessary for either option.
We know that many of you were excited to continue or start your Kizomba and Semba training with us, but we would rather be safe than sorry, and would feel terrible if someone were to come in contact or spread COVID-19 in the community from one of our events.
Please check back to our page for upcoming dates.
